We are happy to announce that MMG has inked a deal with Lunar Sports Group to cover their slate of tent-pole events this spring.  Coming off a hugely successful comedy benefit for the Anthony Fasano Foundation, which brought Tracy Morgan to the city of Miami on Thanksgiving weekend, Lunar Sports group has confirmed that Jamal Westerman of the New York Jets will join the roster of athletes who are committing more and more to expanding on their philanthropy efforts. With annual events with athletes like Brian Leonard of the Cincinnati Bengals, and Anthony Fasano of the Miami Dolphins already scheduled, Lunar Sports Group is very excited about the opportunity to build The Jamal Westerman Golf Classic into a similarly successful annual event. MMG is even more thrilled about the opportunity to showcase each athlete and highlight the foundations that they so graciously support.

First on the schedule, is the Brian Leonard Bowling event which is being held at Chelsea Piers in NYC, on March 13^th. This event which has grown exponentially since it’s inception 3 years ago, is always a shoe-in to bring out the NFL’s best, and of course the stars of the Rutgers football family that Brian is so proudly a part of.

Later in the spring, on the eve of summer actually, Anthony Fasano will hold his annual Golf Charity event at the Montclair Country Club in Northern NJ. Fasano is honored to once again raise funds for REED Academy, a school in Oakland, NJ that serves children with Autism. In September of 2011, REED Academy opened its new home; a brand new school building whose playground is named after Fasano. Finally, on Monday, May 14, New York Jets Linebacker Jamaal Westerman is hosting a charity Golf Outing benefitiing the Ashley Lauren Foundation. The event takes place at Jumping Brook Country Country Club in Neptune, NJ.

The Ashley Lauren Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mission is to provide hope and help for NJ children and their families when facing pediatric cancer. They provide invaluable services for these families including Financial & Material Assistance, Emotional Support, Parties for the Children, Birthday and Holiday Gifts for the Children and anything else that is needed.
